Since 1992, our lives have revolved around these 6 acres, where we've toiled and thrived. We're a dynamic pair, deeply rooted in farming, cherishing the earth and timber. Our hands bear the marks of hard work as we cultivate an array of fruits and vegetables for our own pleasure. Dedicated to our craft, we often neglect leisure, although our abundant harvests frequently overflow, allowing us to share generously.
Martha dedicates her time to refining our cabins with personal touches, managing our various ventures' finances, and relishing moments with our grandchildren. Collaboratively, we maintain the cabins, tend to the farm, and upkeep the surroundings. Engaging with our local Mennonite church remains a significant part of our lives.
Clair and his sons specialized in constructing high-end homes, particularly focusing on exposed beam frameworks. Utilizing his own sawmill on the property, Clair skillfully crafts these beams, a skill integral to the design and construction of our cabins. We've embraced diverse wood species for the floors, walls, and ceilings, most sourced and milled right here. Our cabins are a testament to our shared passion for woodworking and craftsmanship.
We're confident you'll find solace and allure in the comfort of our handcrafted cabins. While you stay, feel free to wander our grounds; you might stumble upon us immersed in some unfinished project.
Year-round, our cabins welcome guests for nights, weeks, or months stays. We eagerly await your visit.
